Postdoctoral graduates - English version
Now that your spell as a postgraduate student has come to an end and it’s time to take the next step, we can help you along the way. Here at the Job Security Foundation, you will always be assigned your own personal administrator who will follow you on your journey. You will be given help to formulate your skills and expertise, improve your chances of getting that all-important job interview or anything else you might need in order to move on in life.
This is how it works
1. Your employer will register you with the Job Security Foundation.
As soon as we receive the notification from your employer, we will send you a welcome letter. This letter will let you know that you are now registered with us.
2. We need your answer
We need an answer from you in order to know that you wish to start a partnership with us. When we have received your answer, you will be assigned your own personal consultant here at Job Security Foundation. You will be offered information and a personal review. During this review, we will talk about your particular needs, circumstances and wishes concerning support in order to get your new job.
3. Do you already have a job?
Even if you do not need our support at the moment, we would like to make contact with you, as you may need us in the future. We would of course also like to know how you are getting on anyway.
On the home page, you will find our activities that are of relevance to you. We often hold seminars especially for postdoctoral graduates and researchers. You can also follow a more in-depth programme if you wish.
Take the shortcut
If you would like to prepare yourself before you meet with us or work on your own initiative, you will find many jobseeker hints and tips here which are applicable to your particular needs as a postdoctoral graduate. We also offer some tips on how you can prepare yourself for the first meeting with your administrator.
Here, you will find all the practical information you need, e.g. if you want to apply for our 'severance payment' a supplement on top of the normal unemployment compensation.
Send your CV to our Recruitment Service
The Job Security Foundation has its own Recruitment Service (information in Swedish) to which employers, particularly those in the public sector, send job vacancies. One benefit of registering with the Recruitment Service is that you can often get in touch with a new employer very quickly if you fit the profile they are looking for.
